There are a few fishermen that prefer to use, or collect vintage model reels, and are going to need to think about a few things before they buy an older reel. Before you start looking though, you'll want to find vintage shops or pawn shops close to you.

Being able to determine the right rod, reel, line, and fly/leader setup to use will help you catch a lot more fish. Two major types of fly rods are being built for anglers to use these days.
