Sturgeon fishing, one of Canada’s widest known trophy catches can be caught practically year round, with no real intervals or breaks in periods of activity, whereas salmon on the other hand have particular seasons for when you can catch them the best. Some of the best fishing in Canada can be found on the coasts, particularly on the west coast near Vancouver Island. If you are looking to target large salmon, then you are going to want to head over to the coast.
